Spent 5 days camping here in January. We took a powered tent site just near the water which allowed some nice breeze during the hot days. The site itself is great in terms of facilities and kids attractions and the scenery is amazing, we even got see 5 dolphins at the water near our site! The only minus would be the annoying flies, surely the camp site owners can place some traps or control it better somehow
Friendly staff - Front reception Robyn is helpful and friendly., nice , clean and tidy accommodation allows cooking simple meals. It has beautiful water view, great place for pressure and fishing. Great BBQ experience and nice swimming pool. highly recommended - will definitely go there again. close to Coles and liquid shops . My cousin left his shirt in the holiday house , it posted back to Sydney within 24 Hours. . when We checked in , a front door lock has small issue which was fixed almost immediately after the issue was reported. Great People and Great service , enjoyable experiences
Had a lovely time at Koala Shores. The caravan park is in a great secluded spot on the inlet of Lemon Tree Passage. Was great for just relaxing and not doing much at all. Jumping pillow and pool a big hit with my daughter. We were due to check out and there was a bushfire close by, and we couldn't get out of Lemon Tree Passage as the road was cut off. We were stuck there, couldn't get back to Canberra (6hr drive) and the park owners looked after us so well and allowed us to stay for another night for free. I believe they also did this for another family in the same situation. We were so grateful. Thank you Koala Shores!!!
Staying at Koala Shores for 4 days was great. Staying in the Superior Bushland Villa we also got a great view of the river and jetty - perfect sunset view with the pelican perched on the edge. The grounds were tidy/clean and quiet. Staff said hello and where always polite and gave us some local advice on things todo.Would stay again.
Upon arrival, was greeted by an all too unhappy staff member (not a great start). Headed to our camp area where we were situated under a tree (quite a nice spot) and headed to the amenities block (that was left wide open due to a dogey lock). Pool was lovely though some of the other powered sites looked a bit rough (was expecting a lot more from a Big 4). Wouldn't recommend unless it was a last resort and you had no other options.
